My dairy-free garlic bread recipe needs just 4 ingredients and bakes in 10 minutes for a side dish that tastes like the store-bought version I grew up eating. I spread vegan butter mixed with fresh garlic and herbs on French baguette halves, then bake at 350°F until the edges turn crispy and golden. It's ready in 20 minutes and is under 200 calories per serving!

Preheat the oven to 350ºF or 180ºC.
Cut the baguette or bread in halves.
In a small bowl mix the butter, minced garlic and chopped parsley until combined.
Spread the garlic butter over the baguette halves until evenly covered.
Place the bread cut-side up on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and bake for 10 minutes until the edges are crispy and golden brown.
Remove from the oven and let cool for 1-2 minutes. Cut into 1-inch slices and serve warm, topped with fresh herbs if preferred.
